Familiar songs. Unexpected choices. Completely live.
Chris Colepaugh and Lavinia Colepaugh perform an eclectic live repertoire built around guitar, cello and two voices.
The set moves freely across generations and genres.
The Everly Brothers can sit beside Tears for Fears.
Mickey & Sylvia can share a set with Daughters of Eve.
Original Chris Colepaugh songs can appear beside music neither performer was born when it was released.
The common thread isn’t genre.
It is arrangement, musicianship and the chemistry of two performers listening closely to one another.
The instrumentation is simple.
The possibilities are not.
