Over the past year, we have been super involved with bringing Malkin Music and our company Cyber PR up and running. And, we have been dedicating ourselves 150% to our clients and have neglected our own little piece of heaven on the website. Bad us!
Great news has been Chris Colepaugh winning ECMA Rock and Fan Choice at the ECMA Awards in April 2011, and winning SOCAN Songwriter of the Year at the MNB Awards in October 2011. In addition, Chris was just nominated for ECMA Group Recording of the Year and Producer of the Year!
We also have our own accolades where Malkin Music was nominated for MNB Company of the year in October 2011 and recently ECMA 2012 Company of the Year!
We have much more on the horizon and can’t wait to share it with you!

Moncton, NB – February 22, 2011: New Brunswick’s Chris Colepaugh and The Crew have signed with Chicago based Wine From The Moon Agency. Wine From The Moon is a music management/agency that works with artists in the greater U.S. Midwest region.
“When we first came across Chris’ music, everyone in the office stopped working and just listened. We are really excited to be working with such a talented artist.” , Ryan Sweeney and Wine from the Moon.
The collaboration with Wine From The Moon will mean more U.S. touring and festival performances for Chris Colepaugh and The Crew – which is exactly what they want. “ The U.S. has a long history of Americana/Blues-Rock/Jam festivals like Bonnaroo, Rothbury, and All Good and Wine From The Moon has their fingers on the pulse of that scene. The guys from Wine From The Moon are focused, driven and they love music. We’re looking forward to growing what we do with them – and having some fun as well.”
U.S. dates are currently being developed and will be announced on the band’s website ( www.colepaugh.com ) as they are confirmed.

(Wolfville, NS – February 8th, 2011) 2011 ECMA Record Company of the Year nominee – Sound of Pop (SOP) – based out of Wolfville, Nova Scotia has inked a publishing deal with New Brunswick hard rockers – The Motorleague – whose new album will be released in Spring/Summer 2011.
Sound of Pop publishing includes a partnership with ole who have offices in Toronto, Nashville and Los Angeles and act as the exclusive world-wide administrator for the SOP music publishing catalogue. SOP published songs have been heard on CBS, ABC, Much Music, Much More Music, Disney Records, CTV, YTV, Galaxie Hit List, SONY Television DVD, Living TV [UK], TV3 [Ireland] and most recently featured on SEGA’s 2010 Olympic Video game.
Sound of Pop’s line up currently includes Coco Love Alcorn, Bettie Serveert, The Fed Pennies, and Glory Glory Man United. “In addition to having some great rock songs – these guys have their act together and have a great work ethic – can’t wait to get started with them in the capacity of sync opportunities.” says Sound of Pop’s owner Glenn McMullen.
Over the past four years The Motorleague have become synonymous with angst ridden blue collar rock anthems and have been called “the voice of the call-centre generation”.
After picking up two East Coast Music Awards in 2010 for best Loud Recording and Fan’s Choice Video and one Music New Brunswick Award, The Motorleague have been busy writing and recording their follow-up release to 2009’s critically acclaimed “Black Noise” with producer Steve Rizun (Flatliners, Protest The Hero, Creepshow). The band has adopted a heavy touring schedule including dates across Canada as well as stops at the ECMAs, North by North East, and COCA playing shows with names like Bad Religion, Alexisonfire, and The Real McKenzies and supporting spots on tours with Comeback Kid and Grady.
“We’re really excited about working with a publisher who’s not only solid, but based on the East Coast and one who is so supportive of East Coast Artists. After years of working of working in the music world and being told we need to move to Ontario, a company that’s supporting hard working Atlantic Canadian bands is a welcome change. ” says Motorleague front-man Don Levandier.
